In this episode of Podcast Answer Man, I cover the following topics.
John Wilkerson called in to ask for some thoughts on how he can entice his audience to provide him with more feedback to his podcast.
Evan Waterman called in to ask me which USB sound card I use in my equipment setup?
Last Honest Guy called in to ask which how to get the best possible sound quality from Skyped Co-Host.
Mike Young called in and asked for my opinions on an informational product that is related to a published book.
Santos Auli called in to ask when a podcaster should consider changing their web host when they start experiencing issues with their server becoming unavailable.
Chef Mark called in with a story about how Libsyn is still serving his old files even after his account has been canceled for quite some time. He also recommended his friend’s hosting service over at FooMG.com (http://FooMG.com). Just to add on to this, I want to point out that I could not be happier than I am with my new VPS account at ServInt Hosting. Please note: This is an affiliate link to ServInt.
Matthew Casteel called into ask about the process of getting listed in iTunes. Check out my WordPress for Podcasters Tutorial here: http://thecliffravenscraftshow.com/products/#wppod
Andy Traub called in to ask how he should best prepare his audience for a very heavy topic when his show’s format has typically been positive and encouraging.
I share my personal feelings about Podcamp Nashville’s decision to allow their sessions to be decided by a random drawing. Unfortunately, I got a little more passionate about this topic that I had hoped to be and possibly made a bit of a fool of myself with my temper tantrum. This caused this episode to be a great deal longer than I desired.
My apologies to each of you for the length of this episode and my sincere apologies to the organizers Podcamp Nashville for making a much bigger deal over this than it needed to be.
